There are several statutes in Bermuda which govern the healthcare system and provide legislative authority to the Council to achieve its mandate. The legislation provides a framework for the ongoing regulation and management of the island’s healthcare system including rules for healthcare providers, businesses and professionals, health insurers, and the administration of healthcare fees.
